Welcome to Archiroots (“Archiroots,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of archiroots.com and any related websites, courses, and services we provide (together, the “Websites”). By using the Websites or purchasing anything from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Websites.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Websites. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Websites with the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2. What We Offer
Visitors can read our publicly available content and contact us.
Registered users can purchase courses, templates, and other products, access paid content, manage their account, and take part in community features.
We may accept or decline any registration, and we may suspend or close an account, at our discretion.
3. Community Guidelines
When using the Websites, you agree not to:
- Break any applicable law
- Infringe anyone’s intellectual property rights
- Post content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, or sexually explicit
- Harass or threaten other users or our team
- Share anyone’s private or sensitive information
- Send spam or carry out unauthorized commercial activity
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools
- Try to access systems, accounts, or data you are not authorized to access
We may remove content or restrict access at any time.
4. Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Course access is for one person only. Sharing your login with others is a breach of these Terms and may result in your account being closed without a refund. We are not liable for any loss caused by unauthorized use of your account.
5. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
Payments
All prices are in US dollars (USD). You agree to provide accurate billing information. You are responsible for any taxes, bank charges, or currency conversion fees that apply to your purchase.
30-Day Pass Guarantee
Every Archiroots exam prep course, including our LEED Green Associate, LEED AP, and WELL AP courses, comes with a pass guarantee. It is exactly that: a pass guarantee. If you do the full work in the course and still do not pass your official exam, we will refund your course fee.
It is not a satisfaction guarantee. We do not issue refunds because you changed your mind, did not like the instructor or the teaching style, found the material too easy or too hard, or ran out of time.
To qualify for a refund under the guarantee, all of the following must be true:
- You completed the full training course. Every training video in the course must be watched and marked as complete in your student dashboard.
- You completed all flashcards. Every flashcard set in the course must be marked as complete.
- You passed all practice exams. Every practice exam in the course must be taken and passed.
- You sat for the official exam and did not pass. You took the official exam with the credentialing body (for example GBCI or IWBI) and received a failing result.
- All of the above happened within 30 days of your purchase. The course completion, the practice exams, the official exam, and your refund request must all fall within 30 days of the purchase date.
- You sent us the required documentation. Within those 30 days, email support@archiroots.com with your official exam score report showing that you did not pass, and a screenshot of your course dashboard showing 100% completion. We also ask for a short note on where you felt the course fell short so we can improve it.
We verify completion against our platform records, which are the final reference. If any one of these conditions is not met, the guarantee does not apply and no refund will be issued. In particular, you are not eligible for a refund if:
- Any training video, flashcard set, or practice exam is incomplete or not passed
- You did not take the official exam
- You passed the official exam
- Your request is received more than 30 days after purchase
- Your documentation is missing or incomplete
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once a refund is issued, your course access ends.
Payment Terms
Apart from the guarantee above, all course purchases are final. There are no cancellations, partial refunds, or refunds for unused access. After 30 days from the purchase date, no refund of any kind is available. You remain responsible for the full purchase price, including any installments.
Templates and Other Digital Products
Templates and other downloadable products may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you contact support@archiroots.com and explain the specific problem with the product. We may ask for supporting evidence. Refunds are not issued for change of mind or general dissatisfaction.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Websites and in our courses, including videos, practice exams, flashcards, study guides, templates, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Archiroots or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use it for your own personal study only. You may not copy, record, download (unless we provide a download), share, resell, or otherwise use our content for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
LEED is a registered trademark of the U.S. Green Building Council. WELL is a registered trademark of the International WELL Building Institute. Archiroots is an independent training provider and is not endorsed by, or sponsored by these organizations.
7. User Content
You keep ownership of anything you post on the Websites, such as comments, reviews, or questions. By posting it, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and share it in connection with our services and marketing. You are responsible for what you submit.
8. Disclaimers
Our courses are prepared by experienced professionals, and we work hard to keep them accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that any student will pass any exam or achieve any particular result outside the terms of the pass guarantee in Section 5. Your results depend on your own effort, background, experience, and factors outside our control, such as changes to the exam by the credentialing body.
Testimonials, pass rates, and timelines shown on the Websites reflect the experiences of individual students and are not a promise that you will get the same outcome.
The Websites and our content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Use of any information on the Websites is at your own risk, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Archiroots is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or exam fees. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Websites or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question.
10. External Links
The Websites may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Websites at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse our services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
13. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Websites will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You agree to bring claims only on an individual basis and waive any right to take part in a class action or class arbitration.
14. Affiliate Program
Affiliates must be at least 18 years old, and all applications are subject to our approval.
Commissions are typically 15% of the net sale price and are paid monthly, after the 30-day refund period on each sale has passed. Refunded sales do not earn a commission.
Affiliates may not send spam, make misleading claims about our courses or the pass guarantee, bid on our brand terms in paid advertising, or misuse the Archiroots name or materials. Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship wherever they promote us. We may end an affiliate relationship and withhold unpaid commissions for any breach of these rules.
15. Course Access
Course access is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase except if stated otherwise. After that, you may renew for another 12 months at 50% of the original course price, subject to our approval. We may update course content at any time to keep it aligned with the current exam.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page, and continued use of the Websites after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
