Proproctor leed exam online

Prior to the pandemic, the only way to take a LEED exam was to go to a Prometric testing center and sit for the two-hour exam at one of their locations around the world. This was the only option available. Examinees now have the option of sitting for their tests in the convenience of their own homes, courtesy of Prometric’s ProProctor application.

How to Register on ProProctor?

Step 1. Install ProProctor on your Device

If you wish to take the LEED exam online then you need to ensure that the computers you plan to use are capable of remote proctoring and then download and install the ProProctor application or software on the devices.

The remote proctoring application offered by Prometric is known as ProProctor. This application enables the Prometric proctor to monitor the progress of the examination from a remote location. It’s a software that makes sure, users do not cheat. Your computer needs to be equipped with a camera, a microphone, and an internet connection in order for you to take the exam that is remotely proctored.

Before beginning the remote proctoring process, it is essential to check your computer’s system to see if it is compatible with the process.

Step 2. Schedule Your Exam

If you have already reserved a seat at a Prometric testing center but now want to take the exam online instead, you can cancel your original appointment and then schedule your online exam by visiting the website for Prometric. This will allow you to switch from taking the in-person exam to taking the exam online. You only need to schedule a day and time and choose the online exam.

What Does the ProProctor LEED Exam include?

The test is exactly the same as the one you would take at the testing center, with the exception of the requirements for the virtual check-in. Having said that, there are also a few key points that you should be aware of for the online exam.

You start by logging into the testing application at least half an hour before your scheduled LEED exam. If you arrive late for check-in, you won’t be able to take your exam, and the full cost of the exam will be non-refundable.

After you have logged in to the testing app, you will be required to go through a series of steps to verify your identity. After that, you will have a meeting with a remote Readiness Agent who will walk you through all of the required steps prior to the launch of your exam similar to a tutorial around the ProProctor application.

The support will ask you for identification as well as request that a webcam scan of the room be performed in addition to asking you to complete other inspection procedures. During the entire time you are taking the exam, you must remain in view of the webcam at all times, with the exception of those times when the remote proctor gives you permission to step away from the computer.

It is imperative that you remember to keep your door closed and that no one enters the room while you are taking the exam; failure to do so will result in the loss of the entire amount paid for the examination.
