WHAT IS THE LEED AP O+M EXAM FORMAT?

All LEED exams are fully multiple choice and made up of 100 questions, no essays or fill in the blanks. Most questions have 1 correct answer, but when stated there are a few questions where you need to choose 2 or 3 correct answers.

The LEED AP O+M v5 exam is made up of 8 subjects which make up the 100 questions. The categories will be the study material in the LEED AP O+M course as follows:

LEED AP BD+C vs. LEED AP O+M

Both LEED specialties require the LEED Green Associate credential as a foundational title to be eligible to take on the LEED AP exam.

LEED AP BD+C is for professionals that work on New Construction and Major Renovations. More suitable for architects and engineers responsible for the integrated design process and the selection of sustainable materials before a building is constructed.

LEED AP O+M is for professionals that work on enhancing operations, specifically catering to facility managers and operators. A professional is not limited to earning either or. Professionals can hold both credentials as long as both exams.
